November 15-26....

Mila drinks from her Hello Kitty cup
and she also can take a 'selfie'!!!

Made this and now going to make some for my earbuds too!

Went to 2 Thrift Stores this morning and got some clothes (since I've lost weight and nothing fits anymore- too big...good problem to have though). I also picked up a 100% Cashmere Sweater to repurpose into an Infinity Cowl and Fingerless Gloves. I got a BIG wreath and Christmas Ornaments for wicked cheap...and I also got a table cloth for my Craft table for this Sunday's Holiday Open House and scored another wooden sewing thread holder.
I Love Thrifting!

Yesterday I made 2 1/2 mason jars of dishwasher soap.
I love using homemade soaps! Here's the recipe I use:

These Santa Candy Bar Wrappers are fun to make and give!

Made these with Wildtree's Chai Spice Muffin

My awesome husband made a 5 gallon bucket
of homemade laundry soap.

DIY Laundry Soap that lasts a long time....
RECIPE

Ingredients:
1 bar Fels-Naptha (I found mine at ACE hardware)
1 cup borax
1 cup washing soda (this is NOT the same as baking soda)
5 gallon bucket

Using a cheese grater, grate the entire bar of soap
Dump your soap into a large pot. Add your borax and washing soda. Cover with enough water to melt the stuff in (used a gallon but you could use less if you have a smaller pot.)
Heat up your mixture and continue stirring until your soap is dissolved.
Dump you mixture into your 5 gallon bucket and fill up the rest of the bucket with water.
Put your lid on you bucket and let it sit for 24 hours.

I poured some into an empty detergent container to make it easier to pour.
I use 1 cup per load and my clothes come out just as clean as with the store bought stuff.

Made this Snow Baby Dishcloth

Took Miss Carson to the movies!
On our way home from the movies, James stopped to buy coffee and creamer and also came out with a 22 lb. turkey!!! I asked him how much he paid...he said .98 cents a pound. I told him Kroger had it for .79 cents a pound, but he said he wanted a rather large turkey and decided to grab this one while it was available.
Hey, the man LOVES his turkey! (He needs this tee):
Prissy...being sweet!

Had fun at Stormie Floyd Henley's house today, being crafty and gabbing. Thank you Stormie for hosting us. You rock! And...Thank you Nancy Flanagan for my Planner Surprise Package too!

I painted this at Potts n Paints...fun classes!

Sunday happenings...

Well, I was going to paint the coop already, but James needed the coop outside first to cut a hole in the mesh on the run to match the opening of the coop door/ladder area and he said I should wait until later when the sun isn't so hot.

Anyways.... James is working on the run- Making 2 sections of the roof that will open for cleaning/access. He is doing plywood, tar paper, shingles, handles, hinges.

I decided to stay busy in the kitchen and now will crochet some dishcloths until I can paint.

Busy day!
